1. Fresh Beef at Mickey D’s
McDonald’s is trying to appease the masses by making the switch from processed beef to fresh beef. Such juicy beef, however, is only served in their Quarter Pounder Burger Family and their signature lineup. Unfortunately, if you’re a Big Mac fan, you’re stuck with the mystery meat. You may have beef with McDonald’s for not offering the freshest variety, but the switch from processed to fresh beef shows the Fast Food giant’s willingness to listen to the customers’ calls for less processed ingredients.
2. Cancer Free, 23andMe!
Have you ever spent hours on WebMD wondering if that weird looking mole on your back may be cancerous? Fret not, 23andMe has your back #punintended. 23andMe sells genetic tests for cancer risk directly to consumers. This kit tests for 3 mutations known to predispose people to developing cancer, however, there are hundreds that are unaccounted for. The narrow scope of the tests can create a sense of false hope. When in doubt, go to a doctor to figure it out.

3. Facebook Under Fire for Inappropriate Survey
What was Facebook thinking!? Facebook hosted an inappropriate survey asking users how they thought the company should handle grooming behavior. One question asked, “how would you handle a private message in which an adult man asks a 14-year-old girl for sexual pictures.” According to FB Vice President of Product, Guy Rosen, “We run surveys to understand how the community thinks about how we set policies.” “Clearly these surveys were a mistake; this kind of activity is and will always be completely unacceptable on FB.”
