Who Will Win Super Bowl Sunday?
Neither… when it comes to the yin and yang of soda that is. The Super Bowl is usually a battleground for Pepsi and Coca-Cola, but come this Sunday, they’ll be doing a lot of hand-holding. In order to not fizz out, the two companies decided they must work together. They want to make it known that you have choices when it comes to picking a soda in this increasingly, competitive beverage marketplace. However, it seems like Pepsi already has a leg up as they continue to be the host of the halftime show and their 30-second ad this year is being narrated by Jimmy Fallon, along with commercial throwbacks from past celebs such as Britney Spears, Jeff Gordon, and Michael Jackson. Elon Musk Sells 20,000 Flamethrowers
It’s quite literally the Elon Musk version of a bake sale. But instead of baked goods, he sold flamethrowers, real ones. At $500 each, the limited run of 20,000 fire tossers netted The Boring Company millions of dollars to put toward plans to dig tunnels better and faster. Tunnels that could one day alleviate traffic congestion or perhaps even play host to futuristic Hyperloops, shooting us from place to place at near-supersonic speeds. Taxis that Fly?
Hybrid helicopter-drone, Vahana VTOL, developed by Airbus A³, aims to offer transport service within cities. Their first flight still has some distance to cover before becoming a fully functioning commercial passenger drone service. Vahana says they are working on progressing from just hovering the vehicle to being able to have it fly directionally. The test launched yesterday morning for a mere 53 seconds, however, Dubai has already tested their flying taxi months ago, making for some serious competition (Source: TechCrunch)
