How to be Overly Polite on LinkedIn
Networking is a two-way street. After requesting or accepting a connection, reach out with a friendly, personalized message. Send a sincere compliment and a reminder of who you are and how you met. Scan their profile to learn mutual interests, groups or even universities to bring up specific talking points in your message.
