Too Mooch to Handle
Whoever said communications wasn’t a real college degree clearly had never met Anthony Scaramucci. “The Mooch” was fired on Monday after a mere ten day run as the newly hired communications director. Just days before, in an interview with The New Yorker, Scaramucci inappropriately ranted about other members of the president’s staff in a crude tirade, ultimately leading to his dismissal. It seems that Trump’s initial faith in Scaramucci’s aggressive political talent has been proven wrong. Is now a good time for Sean Spicer to say “I told you so”.. Or should he come back later? Hackers Take the Iron Throne
HBO recently confirmed that it was indeed hacked, and episodes of Room 104 and Ballers have surfaced online. The hackers stole 1.5 terabytes of data – a goldmine since some of the information allegedly included text from next week’s episode of Game of Thrones. Although HBO hasn’t confirmed exactly what data was lost, they may face repercussions similar to the Sony case in 2014. Despite the catastrophe, this may be good news for some fans – now they won’t be that ONE Game of Thrones spoiler at work Monday morning. (Source: NPR)

Groupon is partnering with Grubhub to increase food delivery options for its customers. Grubhub will command the already existing “Groupon To Go” delivery service and give customers options from 55,000 restaurants. In addition, Grubhub is taking over 27 of Groupon’s OrderUp markets, resulting in 70 layoffs at OrderUp. So far, teaming up has led to a rise in shares for both companies as well as America’s obesity rate. (Source: Mashable)
