Many of us tend to wonder whereas the path we are taking for our newly established company is the proper one to follow. Crafting your way towards a niche is something not to be considered as an easy task if your intent is to rank among the top 10 results for Google; but are there any implicit rules to follow or these are just tricks that you learn as you go?
Marketers and social media managers can instruct us that indeed there’s a certain amount of well-known techniques to apply to boost the performance of our brand, but furthermore, those elements have to match the audience we intend to target – it will not be the same approach for an online store than to a hobby blogger. That is the main reason why you can come across with brands that not only showcase their products available for sale but also provide rich content to the online community in which they are geared. It is about maximizing your exposure rate.
1. Define your project’s goal
As we were mentioning before, it is not the same approach to follow for every single project. Growing companies or brands should focus their attention towards social media engagement and authority website sponsorship. Either guest posting, asking/paying for reviews of the goods or services you offer or even having links in high authority sites can set a truly before/after to your company’s Google rank status.

If your intent is to promote a service for a target audience based in your country, then you need to rely on the on-page optimisation for your area – mentioning from time to time specific locations at post titles or naturally along the text.
2. Unique content for individual goals
There is nothing that Google hates the most (well, we can consider keyword overuse as a rank killer as well) than doing the easy copy/paste task for all the content we share through the social media – and it is such a common mistake to do!

Ranks will not be better if you just keep adding the same text scroll along different websites or platforms: it is more likely prone to undercut your growth possibilities by telling Google that you just don’t mind the fact that you cannot produce a brand new piece of work for boosting your project.
3. Your domain also takes a high stake in Google Ranks
Experience has come to tell us that websites under the “.com” domain have higher chances of ranking among the first five positions of Google search results if rules are followed correctly. However, what about those whose domains are among “.net” or else?
Domains held under the “.net” are often associated with infrastructure companies, so Google automatically sets its mindset towards the area right below the top 10 searches. “.org” domains have a much worse situation, moving directly to the second page of search results unless you played your cards the proper way.
4. Graphics are the core element of your success
Don’t neglect graphics just because you think your written content does not have any failures. The visual impact of an article is the essential part of the process of building your very own audience, as images can say more than words itself.
Avoid what we know as “text walls” by splitting content into paragraphs, and between two paragraphs, be sure to include an image.

For those who aren’t skilled or confident enough to work with software like Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw or Illustrator, there’s currently no excuse for not creating stunning graphics thanks to excellent apps like Canva or Snappa.io. Intended for the needs of bloggers, these tools can even provide their own stock photo library, such as the case of Snappa.io, without requiring a significant learning curve for getting decent quality results.
5. Use the benefits of testimonials
One of the smartest strategies to apply for online stores is to implement a review system that proves to be easy to access for most users. These testimonials, which can be encouraged by promising exclusive products or discounts onto future purchases, can turn an indecisive visitor into a client.

Be sure also to include a good customer service program that pairs the quality of content you produce – this is a must for either store, blogs and any website that desires to rank. If users have questions, those should be answered within minutes, if not, between a span of 24 hours top. Providing a star customer service program will induce referrals, increasing click rate and amount of daily visitors; something you will surely need to impress authority websites when asking for a spot to promo your brand.
