Drug Dealers are turning to Instagram, Tinder, Kik and other platforms to help sell drugs to young people. The drugs vary from prescription medicine to marijuana to research chemicals. Potential customers use hashtags like #weed4Sale or #mdma (for ecstasy) to find their drug of interest. The rest of the dealing process takes place by the potential customer direct messaging the owner of the account, and paying either face-to-face or online. (Source: The Guardian)
Taco Robots Takeover
Imagine a world where endless taco possibilities exist. Taco Bell is officially getting into the artificial intelligence game with their new ordering system called “TacoBot”. The chain is partnering with Slack to allow customers to order certain menu items through a messaging app. This is the latest move by the chain to help customers order tacos “wherever and whenever their fans want it.” Now you can officially say you’ve lived to see robot tacos. Now when you get the munchies from your Instagram order (see above) you can have a robot deliver tacos. (Source: MSN)
Reddit Says Farewell
It’s about time. Reddit is kicking its old app (Alien Blue) to the curb and switching to new IOS and Android apps. “The new code base has allowed us to add features and build a stable client in a record amount of time.
