Snapchat Buys Vurb
Snapchat is looking to get into the search world with their acquisition of Vurb. What’s Vurb you ask? Vurb is used to curate information from places like Yelp, Rotten Tomatoes, news sources and general search. Snapchat dished out $110 million for the app, 75% stock and 25% cash. It’s not 100% what Snapchat is going to use the app for but it’s rumored to be for adding a search element or helping boost the discover feature. (Source: ZDNet)
Google Introduces Duo
When you’re looking to video chat you have many options. FaceTime, Skype, Google Hangout. Now Google Duo. Google wants to step up their video with this new mobile only video calling. Duo is starting to roll out on iOS and Android devices today. Duo wants to make video chatting easier that Google Hangout and less people as well. Duo, as the word describes, is only for one to one chatting rather than hangouts multiple (too many) people. There’s some competition in this field but Google might be able to do well. (Source: Time)

Our wildest dreams may come true on the iPhone 7. Rumors are flying around about the iPhone 7 – no headphone jack, better camera, and now waterproof. The Internet is talking and breaking down whether or not this could be plausible.
