Snapchat Drops $1.3B in Market Value
With Snapchat’s revenue relying ‘a whole lot’ on influencers, you can imagine what would happen if those influencers started speaking against Snap. Kylie Jenner is at the top of that list. Snapchat dropped $1.3 billion in market value last week, on the heels of Jenner’s tweet, who said she doesn’t open the app anymore.
Even Maybelline, the day after Kylie’s fiasco, asked their followers via Twitter if Snapchat is the best platform to use to connect with its customers since their Snapchat views have dropped dramatically. At a conference this week, CEO Evan Spiegel said, “they’re not your friend,” referring to celebrities. (Source: Bloomberg, AdAge)

After a trial period in San Francisco, Uber has officially launched Uber Express POOL. DC, LA, Miami, Philadelphia, San Diego and Denver are now open for business, and more cities will be added over the next few weeks. Uber Express Pool will expedite the current Uber POOL by avoiding deviations from routes and making pickups easier. Uber is asking its customers two things to make this possible: walking and waiting.
