Walmart to Buy Jet
Amazon wannabe and competitor Jet.com is approaching its first birthday and might be getting a pretty big birthday gift. Commerce extraordinaire Walmart is thinking about buying the web retailer. This could be huge for Walmart because it could greatly help their e-commerce efforts and help with their goal to be the largest retailer in the world. Jet would also benefit from this seeing as the startup wasn’t as profitable as it hoped. Twitter Introduces New Form of Ads
Twitter is coming up with a new way for advertisers to get their fans to tweet more. Twitter introduced a new type of ad today that allows brands to unlock exclusive content to their readers when they reply or retweet something.
