McDonald’s and Disney Reunite
McDonald’s and Disney have restored their partnership, bringing back Disney movie toys to Happy Meals for the first time since 2006. McDonald’s, whose business relies largely on families, will benefit by expanding their market. Disney will benefit by gaining exposure and reaching thousands of prospective movie attendees. Both companies have adjusted their brands since Disney severed ties with the burger brand more than a decade ago due to the childhood obesity epidemic. With McDonald’s new healthier platform, the companies have agreed to a non-exclusive partnership. Hopefully, the two will live happily ever after this time around. (Source: AdAge & CNBC)

Instagram Soon to Release Voice and Video Calling?
Snapchat and Instagram frequently compete for the title of top media platform with the creation of stories and direct messaging. Recently, Android’s Application Packages (APKs) have revealed files of unreleased features that will likely surface onto Instagram’s app. The features will allow users to launch video and audio calls within Instagram’s direct messaging tab. This addition would make Instagram a superior chatting platform over Snapchat whose chatting features have not been updated since 2006. (Source: TechCrunch)
