Funniest Super Bowl Ads 2021 – Top 5
The Super Bowl this year ended with the Buccaneers beating the Chiefs and a lot of upset from people who were rooting for the latter.
The bright spot, though, for people who weren’t thrilled with the score were the famous advertisements. Super Bowl advertisements are filled with laughs, nostalgia, and celebrities. Here at Socialnomics, we have chosen our favorite and the funniest commercials we saw. Take a look at our list below:
# 5 – Uber Eats
Uber Eats decided to throw it back and incorporate Wayne’s World for all of those feeling nostalgic. They did throw in a modern element, though, with adding Cardi B to the mix. Seeing Cardi dressed as Wayne and doing the robot made us laugh and think of older and simpler times.
#4 – Dr. Squatch
This ad was humorous and lighthearted, especially for all of the dads out there. The comment about daughters braiding their hair and the synthetic detergent comment were two of the funny highlights in this commercial that pushes men to change their washing routine.
#3 – T-Mobile
In the age of dating sites and online love, T-Mobile came in hot with their take on a blind date. It is both funny and ironic because Gwen Stafani and Blake Shelton are together in real life, and to see Gwen so genuinely uninterested warranted some laughs.
#2 – Pringles
Pringles encouraged laughs when they debuted their commercial about Mission Control ignoring returning astronauts while they were afloat at sea because they were too busy stacking pringles. It definitely put the brand first and garnered some laughs with the astronauts on the screen behind them begging for help.
#1 – State Farm
Our favorite ad from the Super Bowl was the State Farm advertisement. It was light hearted and funny and had Chief’s quarterback Patrick Mahomes, which was great because he was actually playing in the game. The stand-ins were great, and the comparison of Paul Rudd to Patrick Mahomes had us laughing out loud. It is definitely a commercial that gives a bit of a comedic relief if you’re a Chiefs fan.
All of the commercials during the Super Bowl were well done. There was inspiration, humor, and emotional elements to these advertisements, which are much needed in this pandemic we are still facing.
We hope you find joy and laughter within these commercials as our team did. Which ad was your favorite?
