People love their Instagram Stories. In fact, so many people are downloading their Stories that Instagram launched Archive: a private collection of all the temporary content you upload to Stories. It’s similar to Snapchat Memories, but Archive also allows you to re-package and post old stories to Highlights, which will be featured above your other posts. Emojis Turn Over A New Leaf
After beloved boy band One Direction broke up, the Unicode Consortium thought, “Why do all emoji’s have to face one direction? Can we reverse them?” They are now drafting a new set of guidelines for vendors which would allow users to reverse the direction of an emoji. That means the googly eyes on emojis that face left can one day be made to face right. Or for that bad break-up, you can go Beyonce on them… to the left, to the left, everything you own in the box to the left. (Source: CNET)
Google Go: Gotta Search ‘Em All
Google Go is a new data-friendly search app meant for people with lower-end mobile devices or slow Internet connections. Go only takes up 5MB of space, which is great for less expensive mobile devices that tend to have limited storage.
