Come On, Hit Me!
In the continuing trend of improper airline behavior, an American Airlines flight attendant was recorded confronting and shouting at a female passenger. The attendant violently grabbed a baby stroller from the mother, nearly hitting her baby in the process. This caused a male passenger to stand up and confront the flight attendant, who then dared the man to hit him. The altercation has led the distressed woman to hire the same lawyer representing David Dao – Dao was forcefully dragged from a United Airlines flight. Overheard at the Airline counter: “Would you like to pay a $50 upgrade fee to confirm your seat and avoid being beaten senseless and dragged off the plane?” (Source: NBC News)
Flying Cars Are Here?
Flying car company Kitty Hawk has published the first video of its flying prototype aircraft. One of two flying car companies backed by Google founder Larry Page, Kitty Hawk’s dream is to make the power or personal flight possible by developing an all-electric craft that doesn’t require a pilot’s license to fly. The company states that users will learn to fly the craft in minutes, and a consumer version will be available by the end of the year. Perhaps a similar craft will appear at Uber’s Flying Car event in Texas this week? Love the name Kitty Hawk as a shout out to the location of the Wright Brother’s first flight. (Source: The Verge)
