Uber Changes Logo…Again

For the second time, Uber has completely changed its logo and updated its branding. The normal ‘U’ logo that you’re used to seeing on the app has been changed to a…circular thing. There was no press release or social advertising from the company about the logo switch. Keep hailing those rides all you cab riders. (Source: Mashable)
Apple Invests in Wind Power
A recurring pattern with tech giants these days, Apple has decided to take a giant step forward to helping the world by making a huge investment in clean energy. The company has invested in four Chinese companies belonging to Beijing Tianrun New Energy Investment, a branch of Goldwind. As the largest wind turbine provider in China, Goldwind supplied 12.5 percent of all wind turbine installations throughout the country this past year. Because much of its operation resides in China, Apple had committed to cleaner energy for its operations and third party suppliers. The investment is a clear sign of the company trying to reduce its carbon footprint, a trend that the majority of tech giants are starting to follow. (Source: Mashable)
