The Final Presidential Debate
November 8th will be here before we know it. Are you ready for election day? Last night was the final presidential debate before we all head to the polls or send in our absentee ballot. Twitter and Facebook had a great time keeping up with the debate with Trump being 59% of the conversations on Twitter. Did you miss the debate? We’re using Twitter to sum up the most tweeted topics that you need to know.
- “Bad Hombres” – While the candidates discussed immigration Trump said, “But we have some bad hombres here and we’re going to get them out.” Cue the tweets.
- “You’re the puppet” – Gotta love an election where the candidates argue calling one another a puppet. While discussing relations with Russia and Vladimir Putin, Trump said Putin did not respect President Obama to which Clinton responded, “Well, that’s because he’d rather have a puppet as president of the United States.” Trump wasn’t going to let this slide so he replied back, “you’re the puppet.” *cue a childish argument between two presidential candidates*
- “Nasty Woman”– While discussing sexual assault claims that have recently been released, Trump denied the claims and told voters that “Nobody has more respect for women than I do. Nobody.” 15 minutes later, a conversation about healthcare reform was happening, Trump chimed in “such a nasty women”. Twitter really liked this one.

Google Signs CBS
The idea of a Google streaming service has been chatting about for a while now. Will it happen? Will it not? Well progress has been made. CBS has agreed with Google to carry their shows (think: Criminal Minds, Survivor, Big Brother). This could be huge for Google as more and more people are saying “no cable, wifi only” and signing up for paid subscriptions like Netflix and Hulu. Rumor has it that Viacom and 21st Century Fox are also talking with Google. Smart move for all involved. (Source: Reuters)
