Samsung Stops Production of Galaxy Note 7
We’re giving up. Samsung is officially permanently stopping production on their Galaxy Note 7. In case you forgot, the Galaxy Note 7 keeps blowing up due to the batteries. Yesterday, the company said they were going to pause production to adjust but now they are saying NVM this is permanent. It’s unsure if Samsung will try to rebrand the Note7 or just wait until the next lines of phones launch. Considering all the stories with these phones, it’s probably for the better they are no longer being made. (Source: Mashable)
Presidential Debate Gets A Bad Lip Reading
Some days you just realize how great the Internet is. In case you don’t know, Bad Lip Reading is a popular YouTube channel known for spoofing clips from TV, film, sports and more by placing humorous vocals to match their lip movement. The recently did a Bad Lip Reading of the first 2016 Presidential Debate – and it is great. The video which is now going viral has Donald & Hillary going head to head in various games like Five Favorites, Time to Act! and I Can Do This! Check out the video here for a great laugh. Sprint Wants to Give Out A Million Devices to High Schoolers
Sprint announced plans today to give one million high school students a gree smartphone, tablet or PC and four years of free wireless service. The idea comes from CEO Marcelo Claure who wants to narrow the “homework gap”. The homework gap is when students from low-income houses have to go to a library to complete homework due to lack of Internet at home. Sprint is contributing to this plan along with other hardware partners who will donate devices. As of now, the program will give students 3GB of high speed data, free calling and texting.
