Michigan

This is largely being driven by the fact that many huge Michigan institutions such as universities are buying into the booming Esports sector. Virtually all of the state’s main educational centers have launched their own varsity Esports teams and this trend looks set to proliferate.

The presence of some states on this list may come as a surprise to readers, but that is certainly not the case with Nevada, where gaming of all varieties has always been a hallmark.
Just as Atlantic City has been partly behind the drive to making New Jersey an online gaming hub, as well as a land based one, Las Vegas has long been doing the same for Nevada.
One event that has helped make this a reality is the Consumer Electronics Show, or CES as it is known, with tech and mobile companies from around the world converging on Sin City to do business and enjoy themselves to boot.
While the business of gaming is booming in Nevada, playing games is also being taken to another level, with Las Vegas boasting some of the most impressive Esports arenas to be found anywhere in the world.
