Snapchat Makes Things Easier
Bitmojis are the coolest thing that has come to the texting world since emojis. Early last year, Snap Inc purchased Bitstrips, makers of Bitmojis, and integrated the personalized cartoons into the Snapchat app. But, it’s not so easy to add a Bitmoji to a filter as it is to add a snap. Back in October, we began preparation for the book launch of How To Sell on LinkedIn. It was a priority of ours to have a Snapchat filter featuring a Bitmoji of International best-selling author, Erik Qualman. Before, you had to upload the Bitmoji to photoshop then upload the created image to the Snapchat website. But, Snapchat has made things easier. When trying to make a filter on the snapchat website, just log in to Snapchat and your Bitmojis will popup as an option to easily put in a filter. (Source: Mashable)
Eagle Attack
People love drones, but air traffic control, animals and aliens don’t get that excitement humans feel at the possibility of drone pizza delivery. In fact, there have been some evil attempts made against drones by eagles. A group of angsty teen eagles in Western Australia’s Goldfields region are destroying the unmanned flying machines. The drones are seen as the kings of flight’s archnemesis since they are threatening the eagles’ territory. Here is a video of an eagle smackdown. (Source: Mashable)
Can You Solve the Puzzle?
Remember when the world was trying to solve the case of the mysterious blue/black or white/gold dress? Well the world has spoken once again and has decided to solve another mystery together. Facebook user Tseng Shao-Tsen posted a picture of a questionable display of plates. He titled his picture “This cupboard that can never be opened.” The world responded to his picture by giving advice like “put pillows underneath it” or “cut open the glass.” Because everyone has a drill with the capability to cut through glass right? However, the best advice was to leave the cupboard closed. Alas, we are happy to report the problem has been solved. Apparently, all you have to do was open the cupboard enough to be able to fit your hand in, hold the plates, then open the door all the way. But I’m sure the cupboard owner appreciated all the suggestions. (Source: Mashable)
