Get Ready To Be Constantly Annoyed By WhatsApp
The Internet is freaking out over the most recent WhatsApp update. Like a lot of angry emojis freaking out. The update allows users to tag others in conversations. Doesn’t sound like the worst thing ever? Well the notifications when tagged by someone else are unable to be muted. So no matter your settings you will be alerted every time Becky tags you in her messages. There’s no ignoring here. The thought of this feature was that in big group messages, you could tag the people who the message was relevant to. If you do not want to be part of this tagging, you should either leave the group completely or turn off notifications for the whole app. Chat on. (Source: The Independent)
