Dropbox Hack Exposed 68 Million People’s Data
4 years ago Dropbox had experienced a hack that took the passwords and emails of 68 million users. Not cool. The cloud storage company revealed that the data from the hack 4 years ago had been found on the web and so they’re doing some damage control. Dropbox is saying please reset your passwords because if you haven’t in 4 years, you’re at the risk of a hack. Uh oh. Pro tip: Don’t make your password 1234. (Source: Wired)
Apple Gets Lawsuit Over “Touch Disease”
It’s been a bad couple days for Apple. After forking out billions of dollars to Ireland, Apple is now being sued for a flaw called “Touch Disease” on their iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. “Touch disease is when a flickering gray bar appears at the top of the screen and the touch screen becomes faulty. Tragic. The lawsuit states that Apple has concealed the defect and is not covering the repair cost of those with the issue. People are “thoroughly annoyed” they need to replace their iPhones. Those experiencing “touch disease” are hoping that Apple will repair, recall or replace their iPhones. (Source: CBS News)
