EU Files Antitrust Charges Against Google
Google is being accused of using their power and not for good. The company built on the premise of “Do No Evil” is in a bit of trouble with the European Union for imposing their search and Web programs on Android systems. Ok so what’s the problem? Well, Google is requiring these things to be pre-installed on Androids which means rival app companies aren’t even being given a second thought. Google’s response? LOL since users can download whatever apps they want. Android is the core of Google’s mobile business so things could get messy. (Source: Bloomberg Technology)

LinkedIn thought it might be good to help students try and enter the real world, and they’re hoping this app will help. The app helps grads find jobs that fit their major, provide companies that hire from your school, and show what recent alum with your degree are up to. Hopefully targeting this younger demographic helps boost LinkedIn – their shares have been down 55% in the last 12 months. (Source: LinkedIn)
