Macbook Without A Keyboard?
Facebook Takes A Hint From Snapchat
Snapcodes. In case you aren’t aware of what these are they are simply little dots and lines around a person’s username that allow you to easily add them as a friend. (Think QR codes for humans). Snapchat has had this feature for a while and adding new friends has never been easier. In an effort to make the Messenger app better, Facebook is borrowing the same idea and introducing Messenger Codes. Essentially the same thing as a snapcode, users will easily be able to scan into a chat with someone. All because typing their name is just too hard. (Source The Next Web)
I’ll Take A Mac With No Keys…
Apple has filed a patent for a Macbook which would replace the keyboard with a giant touchpad. Apple is calling it “zero-travel” meaning that nothing would move when it is touched, so if you enjoy listening to your keys click then this isn’t the Apple product for you. Apple says that this would allow users to configure your laptop to your needs and allow you to do things like add a number key. Is this a terrible idea or a genius idea? We’re not sure but leave it to Apple to surprise us. (Source Mashable)
Who You Gonna Call…Swipebusters
Suspicious couples everywhere are rejoicing for this new website that lets anyone spy on Tinder users. Swipebuster charges $5 to look if your significant other is doing something shady. Swipebuster doesn’t manually sit and swipe until the target is found, instead the site searches the users database through Tinder’s API. This is sparking conversations on privacy and information shared online. (Source The Guardian)
